After your refrigerator is installed, wait at least one hour. Before switching on the fridge, wipe it with a cloth and lukewarm water.
If your refrigerator has an icemaker, make sure the ice bin is inserted and aligned correctly. If it’s not aligned properly, the ice maker won’t create ice.
Refrigerator: It is recommended that your refrigerator temperature is set between 37°F - 39°F
Freezer: It is recommended that your freezer temperature is set to 0°F
Use the SuperCool setting when you need to place large quantities of food in the refrigerator compartment or to cool down drinks quickly. The temperature is set to 34°F. After about 2 hours, SuperCool turns off automatically.
Use the SuperFreeze setting when you need to quickly freeze items (so your ice cream you just bought from the grocery store doesn't melt). Turn on SuperFreeze a few hours before you head to the grocery store. The temperature is set to -8°F. After 6 hours, SuperFreeze turns off automatically.
If your refrigerator has a water filter, it is recommended that you replace the water filter every 6 months or when the refrigerator indicates it needs to be replaced. Immediately after installing the new filter, remove and throw out 5 minutes worth of water from the water dispenser and one ice bin worth of ice cubes. Also, remember to reset the filter indicator on your refrigerator when replacing the filter.
