What things should I not put in the microwave?

There are so many great things the microwave can do, however, it is important to keep in mind that not every material can be put inside the microwave, otherwise it could create a safety hazard and damage your microwave.

Here are a few things to keep in mind and not put in the microwave

Metal dishes and aluminium foil should not be used in the microwave. This may cause sparks and damage to your microwave.

Melamine should also not be put into the microwave as it tends to melt and become deformed and unusable.
