How to clean your freezer
How to clean the outside of a stainless steel freezer
• First, find the direction of the stainless steel grain. It could be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Next, wash the steel with a soft cloth and mild, soapy water. Be sure to always wipe in the direction of the grain. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• Apply the Bosch stainless steel conditioner and wipe with a soft cloth in the direction of the grain.
• Remove any remaining residue with a paper towel.
• DO NOT apply the conditioner to logos, control labels or black stainless steel.
• Black stainless steel can be simply cleaned with mild soapy water and a soft cloth.
• DO NOT use chlorine-based cleaners or abrasive cleaners and cloths.
How to clean the inside of a freezer
• First, remove all food from the interior and store in a cool location.
• Allow any frost in the freezer to thaw, then wipe down walls, shelving and drawers with a soft cloth and mild, soapy water.
• Ensure water does not get into the lights or run into the evaporation tray through the drain hole.
• Wipe door seals with a damp cloth.
• Dry with a soft cloth then return food back to refrigerator.
• Drawers, bins and other accessories should be washed by hand with mild, soapy water. Do not wash them in the dishwasher.
