Cleaning & Care Tips for Bosch Induction & Electric Cooktops

Maintaining your induction or electric cooktop is simple with the right care. And with the Bosch Glass Cooktop Cleaner, you can remove burnt-on food and greasy residue while leaving a beautiful shine. Follow these steps to properly clean your Bosch cooktop.

Step 1: Prepare the cooktop

  • Wait for the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Apply a small amount of Bosch Glass Cooktop Cleaner to the surface. Note: Avoid using window cleaner, as ammonia can damage the cooktop and produce toxic fumes when heated.

Step 2: Clean and shine

  • Use a soft cloth to spread the cleaner across the cooktop.
  • Gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove food and greasy residue.
  • Buff with a dry cloth for a polished finish.

Step 3: Remove dried or sticky food

  • To remove burnt residue from your cooktop, let the cooktop cool and scrape off with a glass scraper . Make sure to only use the scraper at a low angle (such as 20° or 30°). Using it at a higher angle may scratch the glass.
  • Wipe away with a damp cloth to reveal a clean cooktop.
