Helpful Hint: Keep your sales receipt and your model number in an accessible place. An easy way to do this is to write your complete model number and FD number on the owner’s manual and store your receipt with it. If you call Bosch customer support, having this information readily available will help us assist you more quickly and effectively.

Make sure the ice bin is inserted and aligned correctly. If it’s not aligned properly, the ice maker won’t create ice.

Replace the water filter every 6 months or when the refrigerator indicates it needs to be replaced. Immediately after installing the new filter, remove and throw out 5 minutes worth of water from the water dispenser and one ice bin worth of ice cubes. Also, remember to reset the filter indicator on your refrigerator when replacing the filter.

If you put a lot of warm food into the refrigerator at once, the temperature may rise, thus causing an alarm to go off. Simply turn off the alarm and activate the SuperCool feature. This boosts production of cold air in the refrigerator until your preset temperature is reached. Refer to your owner’s manual for additional information about SuperCool.
