Raw Cacao Tarts with Lisa Raleigh

This no-bake, vegan raw cacao tart recipe is easy to make and a healthy treat for the whole family! It only requires a few ingredients and is easy to prepare in a blender. If you are a chocolate lover and have many chocolate cravings, these rich and delicious raw cacao tarts are a great healthy and guilt-free alternative to having regular chocolate.

It is important to use raw cacao powder instead of cocoa powder in order to get all the antioxidants and health benefits from the raw cacao. Raw cacao is also a popular superfood and great for healthy looking skin!

Instead of the maple syrup, you can also use other sweeteners such as honey, agave syrup or xylitol syrup. Ideally, use food processor such as the Bosch Multi Talent 8 to grind, chop, and blend all your ingredients for this raw cacao tart recipe. You can make either a few small tarts in a silicone tray or one big tart that you can cut into small wedges.

  • Then mix all your crust ingredients together in the food processor and blend until smooth (it may resemble fine crumbs)
  • Place a thin layer of crust at the bottom of your silicone muffin moulds.
  • To make the mousse filling, simply add all your filling ingredients to your Bosch blender, starting with the melted coconut oil, then the maple syrup, then the cacao powder, and blend at a low speed until all mixed through. It should resemble a silky mousse consistency.
