What is FlexInduction®?

Our Bosch Benchmark® Series induction cooktops feature the FlexInduction® Cooking Zone.

The FlexInduction® Cooking Zone is made up of two smaller cooking zones. You can combine the two zones to fit large pans or program them to cook independently. Enjoy even cooking - no matter the size of your pan.

The FlexInduction® Cooking Zone in Action

Warm Food from the Cooktop to the Table

The Grill and Teppanyaki work especially well with the FlexInduction® Cooking Zone and can help ensure your food stays warm after cooking. Place the Grill or Teppanyaki on the FlexInduction® Cooking Zone. Separate the two cooking zones so you can cook on one side of the pan and keep food warm on the other. You won’t have to worry about your food becoming cold before it’s served.

Cooking with One Pan at Different Temperatures

Both our Grill and Teppanyaki can be used with the FlexInduction® Cooking Zone to cook different foods at the same time at different temperatures. To create a delicious Surf and Turf, place the Grill on the FlexInduction® Cooking Zone. Separate the two cooking zones and select the desired frying/power level for each zone. Grill your steak on one side of the grill and your seafood on the other.

Cooking for the Masses

If you need to cook for a large number of guests, combine the two zones and use your large induction cookware. Use the Grill to cook large amounts of burgers, hot dogs, or kebabs for a summer barbeque or the Teppanyaki to create healthy vegetable stir-fry for the whole family efficiently. Cooking for a crowd is no longer a daunting task.
