Nothing says summer like a bite of juicy watermelon and the following recipe allows you to enjoy this low-calorie fruit in a whole new way. Using a variety of shaping molds to create these fruity popsicles is a fun way to let your friends and family get creative in the kitchen.

Ingredients

6-10 servings:

Wooden ice cream sticks

1 ripe, sweet watermelon

Shaping molds

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the watermelon into small triangles and if necessary, remove the seeds.

Step 2

Or use the molds to cut out shapes as desired. Push an ice cream stick into each triangle, if necessary, cut a small slit with a knife.

Step 3

Put the watermelon triangles in the freezer compartment until they are completely frozen.

You can also dip the melon triangles in vegan chocolate before you freeze them.
