Rated 5 out of 5 by from a focal point in my kitchenI a galley kitchen and originally wanted to just install a cooktop... but my electrical service wouldn't allow a cook top and a wall oven and a warming drawer... so this range was the perfect solution !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Things Go Better With BoschThe induction cooking takes a little getting used to. It is, however, outstanding to cook on. Quick heating of pans and precise cooking. Nothing seems to burn on the cooking surface making it easier to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My idea of high end performance and great looksThere's much to like here. The first test was using it just after it was installed to do the usual huge Thanskgiving dinner at our home, baking, cooking, warming, etc. No learning curve and everything came out perfect. One minor beef...we'd like to see a top panel lockout Like on the oven. But ours is a highly specific situation. For some reason our cats like to sit just on top of the on/off spot and turn the burners on, then off, repeat. It's annoying but since there are no pots on the coils no real harm done. Doesn't take away from the 5 star rating though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Only one complaint...SO happy with the new slide in range. The ONE complaint it have is... the buzzer is too quiet! It appears to be on the loudest setting and I can hardly hear it go off when the food is finished. I like a quiet appliance, but NEED to hear the buzzer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoughtful design!Over the years we have owned ranged with gas cooktops, exposed electric burners, and electric burners beneath a ceramic cooktop. Before replacing our old range, we researched induction cooktops for 1 1/2 years, read reviews, and took our cookware to stores to test various models. The Bosch Induction Range was our choice and has been in use in our kitchen for six months. Induction cooktop: It is as fast and responsive as gas--no need to even compare to electric. Going from one cooking level to another is immediate, and you don't have to bend down to check flame height. It's energy efficient. Just the pan is activated--there isn't wasted heat from a gas flame heating the area, so in summer months the kitchen stays cooler. Once an element is turned off, the touch pad will indicate either an H (ceramic is hot) or an h (ceramic is moderately hot), but just the surface heated by the pan is affected for a short period of time--there is no burner beneath the ceramic that needs to cool down. I like the placement and sizes of the elements with the largest near the middle of the cooktop and not directly behind another element. The placement of this largest one also seems to work better for exhausting than if it were in the front. The cooktop is so easy to keep spotless!!! Scratches? I haven't had any problems! It didn't take long to adjust to an induction appliance which works so beautifully. Convection Oven: The "proof" setting allows a choice from 85-125 degrees. I bake all of our bread, so being able to proof five loaves worth of dough at a consistent low temp is wonderful. The proof is uniform, and the convection bake is likewise uniform. Two half- sheet pans of biscotti on "multi rack convection" came out evenly baked without having to rotate sheets or switch racks. There is a fan running while the oven is on and continues for ca. 15 minutes after the oven is turned off--not a big deal. Large oven, large window area, three racks (including a full-extension telescopic rack), multiple settings and modes. . Warming drawer: This is easily opened with a gentle push of your foot (keeping hands free) and has three settings--low, medium, or high. It's useful from keeping plates warm to keeping food hot. The unit goes down almost to the floor, so we had to get used to there being no toe space--a few stubbed toes later, and we've adjusted. Bottom line: Thoughtful design and really fun to use. We're spoiled and will never go back to electric or gas!
