Where Bosch is made

Bosch crafts appliances in 37 factories across the world, close to the families who use them and with more than 140 years of German engineering built into every appliance.

Local for local. Made for the way you live

In 1886, Robert Bosch founded his own workshop in Stuttgart, Germany. Today, Bosch (part of BSH Home Appliances), operates in around 50 countries, delivering appliances to homes worldwide – from kitchens in the Netherlands to laundry rooms in Shanghai and everywhere in between.

Why Bosch creates close to home

Cooking habits, energy grids, lifestyles and water hardness all vary from one country to the next. A washing machine sold in Lithuania uses different water from one sold in Singapore. That's why we build appliances close to the families who use them, in factories run by people who live there too.

Made in Germany

Germany has been home to Bosch since the company's beginnings more than 140 years ago. Many groundbreaking innovations and success stories can be traced back to the German production sites, and the dedicated professionals there.

As global hubs for the parts, electronics, software and design that go into every Bosch appliance, our German sites will continue to be of great importance in the future.
