The thin blade is located between the retaining plates and must be moved forward ((thumb pressure is adequate, without loosening the screw) to use the glass scraper.
Always carefully scrape at a shallow angle (20 to 30 degrees) with smooth strokes and avoid stabbing or chipping at the surface.
Do not use at a harsh angle (such as 45 or 90 degrees) - doing so might scratch the glass cooktop
Safety cover for when blade is not in use. Always push the safety cover back over the razor blade after use (thumb pressure is adequate).

Please pay attention when changing the blades. Remove the screw on top of the scraper. Afterwards uncap the housing and remove the blade. Insert the new blade insight and close the housing. At the end the screw need be tightened again.
