Estimated Reading Time: 3 Minutes 23 Seconds

It is your mother-in-law’s birthday, and you have been tasked with baking the cake. Knowing how your darling mother-in-law refuses to accept anything less than perfection when it comes to your efforts in the kitchen, it is understandable as to why this particular situation would fill you with panic, dread and anxiety.

If you have ever tried to bake a birthday cake before, the chances are high that you have encountered a couple of obstacles along the way. First of all, you might have left your cake in the oven for too long, and wound up with a burnt, inedible mess as a result. Perhaps your cake didn’t bake evenly due to the fact that the accuracy of the heat distribution functionality of your oven left a lot to be desired? Or maybe you actually managed to get it right – only to realise that you didn’t have enough time left to tidy the house before the birthday party began thanks to the amount of time you spent staring at the oven throughout the baking process.

Whatever struggles you encountered before, we have good news. With the Bosch Series 8 oven’s PerfectBake function, all of the stresses and worries associated with baking have become a thing of the past. It’s time to make way for the future…

With the PerfectBake feature, not only are you guaranteed outstanding results every time, but you don’t have to do much in order to achieve them.

At this point, you’re likely to have a few questions… and Bosch is more than happy to answer them for you…

How do I make use of the PerfectBake feature when baking a cake.

All that you have to do is select the ‘Cake’ option on the TFT display and press ‘Start’. Your oven will do the rest.

How will the oven ensure that my cake doesn’t burn?

The oven constantly monitors the moisture level of your cake as it bakes and adjusts the temperature / timings as necessary, resulting in a cake that is truly baked to perfection.

What else can I bake with the help of the PerfectBake function?

Anything you wish! For example, you can bake your own homemade rolls, meringues, quiches and everything in between – all of which have already-existing baking programmes which dictate the perfect baking temperatures and timings.

Do I have to wait in the kitchen whilst the cake is baking?

No. The oven will notify you with an audible signal once your cake is ready, so you can utilise the extra time on your hands to do a wide range of other things in preparation for the party. Once the cake is ready, all that’s left to do is add your own creative touch before serving.
