Ingredients | For 2 dozen cookies
1/3 cup softened butter
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
¾ cup chocolate chips
½ chopped walnuts
Grease a baking sheet using oil or butter.
Using a mixer, cream the butter, egg, vanilla extract, sugar and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until there are no large lumps. Gently stir in the chocolate chips and the chopped walnuts.
Scoop tablespoons of the dough onto a baking sheet. Leave enough space between the dough so they have enough room to expand while baking.
Bake cookies at 375˚F for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Try chopped almonds instead of walnuts for a change.
