Popeye´s Secret
Easy ∣ 2 servings ∣ 2 glasses / 500 ml
Ingredients
200 g baby spinach leaves
2 bananas
1 lemon
150 g ice cubes
150 ml water
Steps
1. Wash, drain and coarsely chop the spinach. Peel and dice the bananas. Wash the lemon under hot water and dry it. Remove and finely grate a finger-width strip of lemon peel. Squeeze the juice from the lemon. First add the spinach, then the lemon juice, lemon peel, bananas, ice cubes and then finally the water into the Bosch blender jug. Close the lid.
2. Set your Bosch blender to the highest setting with the rotary switch and finely purée the ingredients for about 180 seconds. When you use the pusher, the process only takes half as much time.
3. Pour the Popeye’s Secret into four glasses and serve.
Top tip: Good for lowering blood pressure. The difference between a beginner’s and an advanced green smoothie is the fruit-to-vegetable ratio. More fruit makes it sweeter. To make an advanced smoothie, reduce the fruit and increase the vegetables in a beginner’s recipe.

Turkish Delight
Easy ∣ 4 servings ∣ 1000 ml
Ingredients
650 g apricots
400 ml buttermilk
½ tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. chopped pistachios
Steps
1. Wash the apricots, cut them in half and remove the stones. Quarter the apricot halves and add them to the Bosch blender jug along with the buttermilk. Season everything with cinnamon. Put on the lid and close it firmly.
2. Set your Bosch blender to the highest setting with the rotary selector and finely purée the ingredients for about 180 seconds. When you use the pusher, the process only takes half as much time.
3. Pour the Turkish Delight into four glasses and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
Top tip: You can simply use peaches, mangos or blueberries if you’re out of apricots, because fruit based shakes taste best with seasonal fruit.

Raspberry Tales
Easy ∣ 6 servings ∣ 1200 ml
Ingredients
1400 g raspberries
1 lemon
500 g jam sugar for a sugar-fruit ratio of 1:2
Steps
1. Only rinse the raspberries if necessary and be very gentle. Peel the lemon and cut into pieces.
2. Assemble the machine with the fine filter.
3. Turn the lever to center position.
4. Juice the ingredients.
5. Measure 1000 ml of juice. Mix the juice and the sugar in a large pot, bring it to the boil, stirring almost constantly with a wooden kitchen spoon. Boil for 4 minutes on a high heat (or as indicated on the packaging). Check whether the raspberry jam will set by holding the spoon up: When the last drop of jam settles on the spoon rather than falling, the jam is ready.
6. Pour into clean jars and close immediately.
Top tip: Using your VitaExtract slow juicer is the easiest way to separate raspberry seeds from the pulp, resulting in a smooth and aromatic jam. Use preserving sugar with a 1:2 sugar-to-fruit ratio. It's typically free of unwanted additives and allows for low-sugar jam.
