Cooktop-based Hood Control.
Half the effort, twice the fun. The Cooktop-based Hood Control feature allows you to operate your hob and hood at the same time. Want to have your hood's lighting switch on simultaneously with your hob – or control both appliances from your hob's interface? Simply sync them via the Home Connect app* and customise your operation modes.

In addition to the Cocktop-based Hood Control, we have developed the PerfectAir sensor as well as the Smart Hood Automatic that allow for an even easier operation of your hood. Find out more about them down below.
PerfectAir sensor.
The PerfectAir sensor in your Series 8 Inclined Hood certainly lives up to its name. After being turned on, it autonomously checks the kitchen air independent of your type of hob. Once it detects rising vapours or odours, it activates the fan and adjusts its power automatically. It continues to run until the air is fully cleared. By working inly at the lowest level of extraction, noise is reduced to a minimum.
Smart Hood Automatic.
When things get busy in the kitchen, Smart Hood Automatic takes off the steam. For optimal ventilation during your cooking process, our Series 6 Induction Hobs and the Inclined Hoods Series 6 or 4 can communicate with each other based on the cooking setting.** Once synched via Home Connect app*, your hood turns on simultaneously with your hob and adjusts always automatically the speed of the fan accordingly to the cooking on the hob.
