Cleaning a microwave like a pro – here’s how.
You want to clean your microwave? Preferably quickly and correctly? It would be good if there was a trick for cleaning microwaves easily because the interior can quickly become splashed and dirty. You can avoid these by using a special lid while warming that can then be washed in the dishwasher. Too late? It doesn’t matter. To clean a microwave correctly, remove the turntable and clean this in soapy water. It’s best to wipe the interior with a damp cloth. You shouldn’t use the rough side of universal sponges. These can scratch the interior surface. Oven cleaner should not be used under any circumstances. Ideally, don’t wait too long before cleaning the microwave, but always clean it immediately after warming and preparing food. This way, dirt won’t become stubbornly baked on and the microwave can be cleaned quickly and easily.
