Perfect integration: the new FlexInduction from Bosch liberates cooking
Flexibility: modular, combinable FlexInduction zones
Efficiency: four individually controllable, oval induction coils
Design – perfectly integrated: flush-mounted or with elegant top frame
Munich – Nothing is so good that it couldn’t be improved. True to this principle, Bosch engineers are constantly working to develop the functions and features of all home appliances. For instance, Bosch induction hobs are the result of over 20 years of experience and continuous major improvements. With innovative FlexInduction, the latest generation of hi-tech appliances has escaped the confines of traditional hobs. FlexInduction makes cooking even more flexible, informal and creative. In addition to the existing five versions, two models that can be installed flush with surrounding surfaces will also be available from January 2011.
Groundbreaking cooking experience
The name FlexInduction refers to a versatile 40x20 cm heating zone comprising two halves. Both can be used separately in standard mode or can be combined to form a continuous surface in flexible mode. If you need a frying pan for meat, a saucepan for vegetables, and – at the last minute – one for the sauce, there’s no problem. In flexible mode the entire spacious cooking area is supplied with the set power. Nonetheless, heat is applied only where it belongs: in the cooking utensil. Quickly and economically. Depending on the model, the FlexInduction zone occupies the left side of the hob (PIN675N14E and PIN875N14E) or as a dual zone covers both halves (PIV675N14E). In the XXL model PIZ975N14E two FlexInduction zones surround a circular induction zone in the center. Visually extremely elegant, both the 60 cm version with two FlexInduction zones and the 80 cm version are also available for installation flush with surrounding surfaces from January 2011. So flexibility is the watchword not just in use, but also in the choice of model.
Below the FlexInduction zone are four oval electromagnetic coils, allowing for a particularly uniform distribution of heat over the entire surface and enabling pans to be detected precisely. Depending on the size and shape of the cooking utensil used, they activate one, two, three or four of the coils. For example, a larger saucepan can be heated on the two top modules, and a small one on the bottom module, while the coil in between is out of action. All this precision is not only efficient, but also safe, as the hotplate stays virtually cold.
Flexibility plus convenience
FlexInduction from Bosch makes the already flexible and efficient induction technology even more adaptable – and hence makes cooking more enjoyable, safer and more pleasant. This is not least due to the visual appearance and the ease of operation. The models – including the deluxe 80 and 90 cm wide hobs – offer an elegant top frame and visually and functionally compelling DirectSelect control. Added to this is fast direct selection of power levels at the touch of a finger for individual use of the induction heat. Making cooking with induction a real pleasure!
