Munich – It's beautiful when high-end design and forward-thinking functionality merge to form a harmonious entity that enriches your kitchen experience with each movement! This is Bosch's goal for the ColorGlass edition: Refrigerators, combination units and side-by-side models that are not just attractive in style; they also feature state-of-the-art performance and the latest energy-efficiency technologies.
Design: the art of fine details
The secret of the ColorGlass edition from Bosch is in every single detail: Their colorful, high-gloss, safety glass fronts are painted on the back side in red, black, white, quartz or stainless-steel-behind-glass and are fabricated with such precision that they don't need a frame – and still don't lack durability. Their appearance is even more harmonious and elegant, and their presence in the kitchen is that much more exclusive. The particularly classy stainless-steel-behind-glass version fuses sheets of glass and metal in a complex manufacturing process. The control elements are either hidden behind the door or integrated behind glass in the door as Touch Premium electronic buttons. A long-life LED and additional reflections from the metal accents ensure that the refrigerator is well lit.
Goal: more freshness, less energy
Whether it's the VitaFresh section, ensuring long-lasting freshness with various moisture zones and a temperature of 0° Celsius, the HydroFresh compartment, or the spacious FreshProtectBox, all ColorGlass units are designed to keep your groceries especially flavorful and fresh for longer. This fulfills a central need among customers: Not having to shop every day because there is simply no time for it. The freshness technology of ColorGlass units makes every day a market day. And for all ColorGlass models with a freezing section, the NoFrost technology ensures that nothing gathers frost and your food loses as little as possible in terms of its original quality.
Even more choices in the A+++ models
While the A++ refrigerator-freezer combinations from the ColorGlass line use up to 40 percent less electricity compared to energy efficiency class A, the newly launched ColorGlass units from Bosch in black take it yet another step farther: According to the latest EU energy label, which went into effect at the end of December 2010, it fits in the category A+++ and needs only half the electricity of an A+ unit. In autumn of 2011, the A+++ units will be available in the latest trend color, quartz. This elegant sand tone perfectly suits the hottest trends in kitchen furnishings and adds a stylish accent to any kitchen.
