Ergonomics. Design. Efficiency. Bosch presents new Ergo Design extractor hoods as well as the first "Green Technology inside" energy-saving extractor hood
Ergo Design extractor hoods from Bosch: Elegant, convenient and the perfect design fit to ColorGlass refrigerators, ovens and compact appliances.

Munich – Three new wall-mounted extractor hoods in Ergo Design – DWK09M750, -760 and -720 – as well as a new energy-saving extractor hood – DWB09T855 – will shortly be enriching the Bosch extractor hood program. This will be good news for all consumers for whom the aesthetics and ergonomics of their extractor hood are just as important as its functionality. And, of course, for all those who do not want to make compromises in energy saving in the kitchen. All new extractor hoods can be perfectly combined with the entire modern Bosch appliance program. The three ergonomic wall-mounted extractor hoods especially match the design of the ColorGlass refrigerators, ovens and compact appliances. The energy-saving extractor hood plays a particular role: It is the first extractor hood that, thanks to its low energy consumption values, is allowed to carry the "Green Technology inside" label from Bosch.
Ergonomics and aesthetics under one hood
"Ergo-Design – made by Bosch" – this term conceals an external form and design that, as well as being visually concise, offers the maximum in no-barriers intuitive use. This elegant extractor hood trio, which will be available in both black and white glass as well as in stainless steel, expresses this claim from several perspectives. Firstly, the extractor hoods, which are intended for wall mounting above the cooking hob, impress through their 90 cm broad glass or stainless steel screen that is angled upwards to give the cook full headroom. At the same time this angle gives a few of the elegant combination of stainless steel and colored glass, which conceals the dishwasher-washable stainless steel grease filter. Two halogen spotlights not only light up the cooking area, but set lighting accents.
To this must be added a high degree of operating convenience: The operating controls are at a handy and easily reachable height on the right-hand side – smoothly-operating buttons that allow power and lighting to be set securely and without obstruction. The high degree of functionality comes in addition to the design and ease of operation: With a maximum extraction performance of 780 cubic meters an hour, which can be varied in three stages plus an intensive step, the double-flow high-power blower gives cooking vapors and meal aromas no chance. The effective edge extraction also contributes to an undisturbed kitchen climate.
First GTI extractor hood
The 90 cm broad Bosch DWB09T855 wall mounting extractor hood in box design represents a first. It is the first extractor hood from Bosch to be included in the Green Technology inside (GTI) program for Bosch appliances that save the most energy. Its energy efficiency is due to, amongst other things, its EcoDrive motor technology: The brushless (and therefore low-friction) quiet DC motor permits a saving in energy of over 85 percent compared to a conventional motor with the same extraction performance. In addition, the halogen lighting has been replaced by long-life energy-saving LEDs that are around 75 percent more economical. In total, the combination of EcoDrive and LED illumination gives an 80 percent reduction in consumption*) compared to a model with a co
