Munich – The sleek look is here to stay; curls and waves are on their way in. That in a nutshell sums up hair trends for 2012. And right on cue Bosch has developed exactly the right styling equipment. With the G-Curler curl maker, women can easily create glamorous waves or ravishing curls. Its special shape conjures up truly natural-looking curls that look like a large letter “G”. The S-Waver wave maker can help style as many as four different new and trendy looks, including a really fabulously beautiful wave, the so-called “S-wave”, to which the hair styler owes its name. In the blink of an eye, or perhaps rather at the flick of a finger, it also creates big waves for retro styles or alternatively the tiny curls of the 1980s.
Two fingers for easier styling
“At the flick of a finger” may also be taken literally in this case, because the way to these different styles takes us via various new techniques for winding the hair around the curling attachment. The innovative design comprises two heating bars of different lengths over and between which the strands of hair are laid. Different hair styles demand different approaches. Sometimes a separated section of hair is wound around just one of the two “fingers”, sometimes around both and sometimes around the first one and then the other. That sounds complicated but it isn’t, because the specially shaped tips of the bars make it easier to thread in the hair while at the same time preventing the hair from slipping out while styling. Once the lock of hair is shaped, the G-Curler and S-Waver are easily removed without unwinding the curl. Tips and tricks for use, which explain clearly the different ways to hold the hair styler, are enclosed in the pack. Various hair styles are also explained in the styling films that can be viewed from October on the microsite www.bosch-personalstyle.com.
An abundance of curls and waves just like the professionals do it
Like all appliances in the Bosch ProSalon range, the two new ones are also designed for women who want to style their hair at home as professionally as at the hair salon. Both, the G-Curler and S-Waver, are operated using the clear LCD display. Each appliance has a three-meter long swivel cord to guarantee perfect freedom. The brief warm-up phase of just 60 seconds saves long waiting times, the automatic cut-out provides the necessary safety and the button lock prevents inadvertent temperature changes.
